his photo of mice squabbling on a subway platform has won a prestigious wildlife photography award from London’s Natural History Museum. Photographer Sam Rowley said he got the idea for his winning shot after a friend sent him a video of two mice fighting. He then spent about a week visiting London Underground stations in the evenings, staying until the early hours of the morning. "I was quite disappointed with what I managed to get at first," he said, adding that the picture "grew" on him over time. Rowley’s photo was picked by the public from more than 48,000 images.
